Teen Dating Safety

Relationships should feel safe and respectful. Teen dating violence can happen to anyone, and it’s important to know the signs of unhealthy behaviors. This month, SafeSpace helps students understand boundaries, consent, and how to seek support if a relationship ever becomes unsafe.

What You Can Do

  • Respect boundaries — ‘no’ always means ‘no.’
  • Watch for signs of control, jealousy, or isolation.
  • Don’t ignore red flags online or in person.
  • Talk to a counselor or adult if you feel unsafe.
